The 3M™ VHB™ Tape Water-Based Promoter UV is an environmentally friendly, high-performance adhesion promoter formulated to maximize the bond strength of 3M™ VHB™ Tapes on a variety of substrates including ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, FRP, PVC, metals, and painted surfaces. With over 70% water in its formulation, this non-flammable promoter reduces the need for traditional solvent-based primers, improving safety, sustainability, and ease of handling. The integrated UV indicator makes the promoter visible under UV light, allowing for quick verification of application and quality control. Available in multiple container sizes from 0.236 L to 3.79 L, it dries quickly at room temperature (2–10 minutes) and ensures secure, long-lasting bonds for industrial, automotive, and assembly applications.
